A letter to families and professionals who impact the lives of children with special needs

Dear Families and Professionals,

First, I want to thank the families and dedicated professionals who work so passionately with children.   There are many programs dedicated for children with special needs, and many resources to support children in the community.

Recently, I have been trying to find and compile information about leisure and community programs for children with special needs.  As I come across information, I will be trying to put it up onto my site with a brief explanation.  While I do not endorse any of the programs, I encourage families to explore different activities to meet their child’s needs.

Families and organizations are welcome to email me, Laura, links and short descriptions of programs available for children with special needs.  The hope is to provide families with a variety of resources and activities that they can access for their child regarding leisure activities.
